This Privacy Policy explains how AquaOke / KaraokeQueue ("KaraokeQueue", "we", "our", or "the application") handles information when users access features that use YouTube API Services.
1. Use of YouTube API Services
KaraokeQueue uses the YouTube Data API v3 to allow users to search for publicly available YouTube videos.
When a user performs a search, the application sends the search request to YouTube API Services and displays relevant public information returned by the API, such as video titles, thumbnails, channel information, and video identifiers.
2. Google Account Access
KaraokeQueue does not require users to sign in with a Google Account in order to use its YouTube search functionality. The application does not request OAuth authorization to access a user's private YouTube account information.
3. Information Collected
KaraokeQueue does not use YouTube API Services to obtain private Google Account information, private YouTube data, passwords, or authentication credentials.
The application primarily processes user-entered search terms and publicly available video information returned by YouTube API Services for the purpose of providing search results and allowing users to select videos.
4. Storage and Retention
KaraokeQueue does not create a permanent profile of users from YouTube API data and does not permanently store private Google or YouTube account information.
Public YouTube information may be processed temporarily as necessary to provide the application's search and queue functionality.
5. Sharing and Sale of Information
KaraokeQueue does not sell personal information or YouTube API data to third parties.
Information obtained through YouTube API Services is not used for advertising profiles or sold for marketing purposes.
6. Data Deletion and Revocation
Because KaraokeQueue's YouTube search functionality does not require Google Account authorization, there is normally no Google OAuth authorization for a user to revoke.
Users who contact the developer regarding information associated with their use of the application may request deletion of information controlled by KaraokeQueue, where applicable.
